# Unique Game ID

Boring Ape seamlessly integrates virtual presence with real-world identity through a decentralized identity system, ensuring player identity, asset ownership, personalization and a secure gaming experience. Essentially, Bored Ape differs significantly from a centralized gaming account identity system.Bored Ape uses an ethereum-based wallet address, which is based on private-public key pairs, specifically with EVMs.Bored Ape's gaming identity component primarily involves zero-knowledge proofs, data encryption, and authentication, whereby the user creates a unique ethereum wallet address as the their permanent identifier in the Bored Ape gaming ecosystem and links user accounts, identity profiles, preferences and game data and assets. In the future, Bored Ape will also be tied to Soul Tokens or Soul NFT identity credentials and the contract stipulates that each account can only have one Bored Ape ID address, which is designed to be censorship-resistant, privacy-secure, and gives users the right to own and control their gaming data and assets.
